About The Position

This is a Full-Time Salaried role with Capgemini Engineering, based in Capgemini offices in the USA (multiple locations). The position may require need‑basis on‑call support, including weekends or holidays once a month. The role involves working with IBM Sterling products and other Managed File Transfer technologies, ensuring secure, reliable data movement across platforms and environments.
 

Requirements

• Experience with IBM Sterling products (Connect Direct, Control Center, CCD) and Secure Proxy.
• Experience in cloud technology, Kubernetes, OpenShift (OCP), with some knowledge of any cloud platform.
• Hands‑on experience with transmission protocols (sFTP, Connect:Direct, FTP).
• Strong understanding of Secure Plus protocols (TLS/SSL).
• Knowledge of networking and security, especially cryptography applications and data security.
• Hands‑on administration experience with both Windows and Unix operating systems.
• Experience with Unix/Windows Connect Direct support

Nice To Haves

• Optional experience with Windows/Unix scripting, including basic shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Work with IBM Sterling products such as Connect Direct, along with Control Center (CCD) and Secure Proxy.
• Support and manage Managed File Transfer (MFT) environments.
• Handle and maintain transmission protocols like sFTP, Connect:Direct, FTP, etc.
• Manage Unix/Windows Connect Direct support processes.
• Ensure smooth operations through Windows and Unix administration tasks.
• Provide on‑call support on a rotational basis once per month (weekends/holidays when required).
