About The Position

Boeing Defense Space and Security is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join Special Projects Dallas - Hardware Processing Center, Dock and Supply Chain Team located in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics, supply chain, mentorship, proposal development, procurement, and rework & repair of aircraft hardware.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 3 or more years of experience with CAPRs and GOLDesp
• 5 or more years of experience working in the supply chain field
• Basic knowledge on use of ARES (Accelerated Receiving Execution System)
• Basic Knowledge on use of TEAM Center
• Basic knowledge on use of Haystack

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer post-production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material.
• Lead activities for economy of purchases.
• Lead and monitor customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers.
• Lead the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
• Initiate recommendations for repair sourcing decisions.
• Oversees the processing and documentation of repair items and warranties.
• Conduct supplier/customer presentations and program reviews.
• Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.
