About The Position

Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? Well, we pump peanut butter into your jar, and the oil in your car. We glue the soles of your shoes, the glass in your windows and the screen on your phone. The Senior Supply Chain Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing cross-functional initiatives and projects that advance materials management excellence across Graco. This position is responsible for the full ownership of the project lifecycle, from initial planning through successful implementation and sustained adoption—ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope and on budget. This position drives and implements cross-functional projects on the Materials Management roadmap and builds strong partnerships with stakeholders at all levels to drive the success of the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply chain, Business or related field
  • 5+ years in project management, preferably in manufacturing, materials/supply chain, or continuous improvement roles
  • Project management experience with Oracle Fusion implementations
  • Project management certification (PMI, CAPM)
  • Proven experience managing large-scale supply chain projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multifunctional teams on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills, with high sense of urgency and decisiveness, and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Materials Management Project Planning & Execution Define project scope, goals and deliverables to support business objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans with budget, timelines, resource requirements and milestones.
  • Use standard project management tools and methodologies to plan, execute and deliver projects effectively and on schedule.
  • Execute project plans using standard methodologies.
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines and stay within budget, adjusting as necessary for unforeseen issues.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure smooth progress.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Foster cross-functional collaboration and communication among team members to ensure alignment and efficiency in project execution.
  • Serve as a central point of communication for all stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Ensure project reporting is communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of cross-functional business process changes identified in the project plan.
  • Partner with other technical or functional project managers to ensure end-to-end project delivery.
  • Resource and Risk Management Manage multiple projects concurrently, identifying and elevating resource constraints and roadblocks.
  • Identify resource needs with program sponsor(s), assign tasks, and coordinate team efforts to execute the project.
  • Proactively identify, assess and mitigate project risks by developing and maintaining contingency plans to minimize potential impacts on scope, timeline, or outcomes.
  • Facilitate problem-solving efforts when issues arise and escalate risks or blockers to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure resolution and maintain project momentum.
  • Performance Management and Reporting Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure project outcomes and overall delivery effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on project progress against defined KPIs using standardized tools such as dashboards, tracking software, and routine status updates to ensure visibility, alignment and timely decision-making.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess overall success, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
