Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting), cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years in management consulting and/or program management in IT hardware supply chain supporting of hardware or software.
  • MBA or MS in Computer or Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred
  • Experience in leading large-scale programs, and a track record of successfully setting up and executing supply chain operational processes.
  • Experience in working with global and cross-functional internal and external teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cloud / high tech supply chain experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be leading the Portfolio planning function as part of the monthly Cloud Capacity & HW planning process
  • Lead lifecycle planning across product stages: NPI through EOL & Decom.
  • Enable MSFTs technology roadmap while supporting customer demand and minimizing excess inventory.
  • Partner with supply chain, engineering and finance teams to identify portfolio risks and opportunities and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track NPI, EOL & Decom timelines, risks, and planning milestones.
  • Drive the strategy, content & messaging for a monthly cross-functional Portfolio review forum to drive actions and executive decision making.
  • Provide thought leadership on the Portfolio planning process with multiple stakeholders.
