At NVIDIA, our employees are passionate about parallel and visual computing and we are now looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner. We're united in our quest to transform the way graphics are used for work and play. Our technology impacts the visual experience in video game development, film production, deep learning, space exploration, medicine, computational finance and automotive design. And we've only scratched the surface of what we can accomplish when we apply our technology to it. We need passionate, hard-working, and creative people to help us take on some of these great opportunities. What you'll be doing: You'll develop and manage optimization model for substrates and associated constrained materials planning across multiple tiers of supply chain. As a central planner for substrates, you'll act as the critical link within Operations, Engineering and the Business Units for substrates and associated supply chain. You'll own operations' supply commitments for substrates that the company will rely on to make customer and revenue commitments. Craft an optimized requested production schedule for multiple products and SKUs considering die availability, priorities, materials availability and constraints for NVIDIA's execution teams. Drive and influence decisions on dependent demands of materials and capacity, in order to support the required build plan. Often times there will be capacity, materials, and production issues that will prevent satisfying all demand. You will be planning's person in charge to determine tradeoff options and work with internal partners to craft the optimal plan. Analyze substrates shortfalls to prepare a supply summary and forecast to management.
