About The Position

The Senior Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations, including production planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and customer service . This role is highly hands-on and execution-focused, ensuring uninterrupted production, accurate inventory, cost control, regulatory compliance, and high service levels in a frozen food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in food manufacturing supply chains, advanced Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Excel skills, and the ability to translate data into operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or production planning
  • Experience in food manufacturing or frozen food strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with operations and leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering , or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to lift 10–55 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs
  • English required
  • Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

  • Production Planning
  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand forecasts, raw material availability, labor, and capacity
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, QA, Maintenance, and Sales to prevent shortages, downtime, and schedule disruptions
  • Ensure planning supports inventory targets and customer service goals
  • Warehousing & Logistics
  • Manage internal and third-party cold storage warehouses
  • Maintain accurate finished goods inventory with strict FIFO and expiration control
  • Oversee outbound logistics to achieve OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) delivery
  • Optimize freight, storage, and handling costs
  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate raw material (RM) and finished goods (FG) inventory
  • Ensure full lot traceability from receipt through production and shipment
  • Minimize losses due to damage, obsolescence, or expiration
  • Support food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
  • Purchasing & Procurement
  • Source raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend from approved suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and service levels
  • Maintain vendor qualification and documentation programs
  • Identify alternate suppliers to reduce risk and cost
  • Customer Service & Order Fulfillment
  • Lead customer service to ensure accurate order processing and fulfillment
  • Manage customer deductions, chargebacks, and disputes
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support Accounts Receivable with timely collections
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Track and report supply chain KPIs (inventory turns, service levels, freight costs, forecast accuracy, write-offs)
  • Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and drive corrective actions
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain functions
  • Systems & Tools
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (required)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
