About The Position

The Senior Supply Chain Manager – U.S. Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for directing and optimizing all supply chain activities across U.S. operations. This position provides end-to-end oversight of field procurement, warehouse and yard operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and asset administration to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant material support to operations. The role is accountable for delivering measurable improvements in cost control, service levels, inventory accuracy, and process standardization across multiple districts and areas. The Senior Supply Chain Manager partners closely with Operations, Finance, HSE, and Corporate Supply Chain leadership to align supply chain performance with business objectives and operational priorities. This position requires a strong leader capable of driving organizational change, developing high-performing teams, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, procurement, distribution, and logistics management.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to effectively perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, management, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in alignment with company policies and procedures.

  • Extensive knowledge of oilfield and drilling materials.

  • Ability to travel frequently within the US.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level leadership and direction to all U.S. District and Area Supply Chain organizations.
  • Oversee field procurement, warehouse, yard, and logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate material availability for operations.
  • Establish and enforce operational standards, policies, and procedures across all locations.
  • Drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and procurement governance requirements.
  • Partner with Finance to manage supply chain budgets, accruals, cost controls, and period-end accuracy.
  • Monitor district spend and identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and improved sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure procurement and inventory transactions are executed accurately within the correct accounting periods.
  • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and local supplier performance management.
  • Maintain accountability for inventory integrity across all warehouses and yards.
  • Lead cycle count programs, inventory audits, and root cause corrective actions.
  • Oversee management of obsolete, slow-moving, and excess materials.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop District Supply Chain Managers and field teams.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to operational best practices.
  • Identify training needs and develop succession planning within the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement, inventory, and logistics.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide regular performance reporting and executive-level updates.
  • Drive system enhancements and adoption of technology to improve visibility and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary supply chain interface with U.S. Operations leadership.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Procurement, IT, Finance, and HSE to align objectives and priorities.
  • Ensure high levels of internal customer satisfaction through proactive communication and service delivery.
  • Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
  • Support emergency response and operational surge requirements as needed.
