About The Position
Your responsibilities will include Working closely with suppliers to address quality issues, processing non-conformances and deviation requests. Developing receiving inspection plans
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a supplier or quality engineering role
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Quality or industrial engineering
- Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality management systems
- Strong proficiency with problem-solving methods such as 8D, Fishbone diagram, 5 Whys etc.
- Proven competency in core quality tools such as Control plans, FMEA, Capability studies, Gage R&R, Gage correlation etc.
- Working knowledge of Advanced product quality planning and Production part approval process
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Certified quality engineer or Six Sigma green belt
