About The Position

Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business, is looking for a Senior Supplier Program Management Specialist to join our team in Miami, FL or Wichita, KS. The role involves developing global Market Segment strategies, managing product life cycles, and maximizing performance in terms of price, sales, gross margin percentage, and inventory. Responsibilities include strategic planning, tactical activities, and companywide go-to-market sales plans. The specialist will develop sales and margin plans, account and market strategies, and price/negotiation campaigns in conjunction with regional sales organizations and Sales Managers. The position also requires analyzing pricing strategies for hardware product lines, assessing competitive positions, and identifying opportunities to expand distribution service agreements with suppliers. Additionally, the role involves monitoring product costs, developing data and trend analysis, and assisting in the management of global product line forecasts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience in Program Management.
  • Experience working within the aviation industry.
  • Experience analyzing and summarizing vast amounts of data.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships internally and with external customers.
  • Ability to define problems, develop metrics, and work with financial concepts.
  • Proficient with various inter-relational software programs (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access).

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop global Market Segment strategies and manage product life cycle.
  • Maximize performance in price, sales, gross margin percentage, and inventory.
  • Develop sales and margin plans, account and market strategies, and price/negotiation campaigns.
  • Analyze pricing strategy for Hardware product lines to grow market share.
  • Identify pricing optimization opportunities and assess competitive positions.
  • Expand distribution service agreements with suppliers.
  • Monitor product costs and develop data and trend analysis.
  • Assist in management of global product line forecast and validate planning system output.
  • Interface with Operations on product line specific OTD performance.
  • Work across PL teams, Supplier Management, and Sales on pricing models.
  • Assist Program Managers with Hardware product line program management requirements.
  • Conduct training and information sessions for product line or specific products.
