About The Position
The Senior Supplier Development Engineer will be responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining casting and internal engine components suppliers through direct support of production operations, root cause/corrective action investigation, and active involvement with assigned suppliers to optimize suppliers' processes for efficiency, quality, and productivity. This position will be a subject matter expert knowledgeable in aluminum castings, steel forgings, machining process and further processes (heat treatment, coatings). He or she will support the design review and development of new and existing components to ensure suppliers meet the quoted capacity and capability requirements.
