About The Position

The Senior Supervisor will support the General Manager and AGM in the execution of retail store operations while gaining skills and experience required for advancement to store management roles. This position will act as the onsite store manager in the absence of the General Manager and AGM. In addition to their responsibilities within the store, the Sr Supervisor will work with cross functional partners to develop a broader understanding of the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operations
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Strong retail math skills required
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic
  • Understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating procedures
  • Must pass any and all required background checks to hold necessary state required credentials
  • Must be focused, and detail oriented
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively

Responsibilities

  • Partner with GM, AGM, and support partners in recruiting, onboarding, training and development of dispensary staff
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to develop staff's professional growth
  • Enforce accountability to AWH policies and procedures through coaching and disciplinary measures
  • Prioritize and uphold operational compliance per regulatory standards and company policies
  • Impact business results by driving KPIs
  • Develop effective P&L management skills
  • Ensure clear communication to teams by leading daily communication to staff
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to execute company initiatives in store
  • Influence process improvements and support implementation of process changes
  • Foster positive and productive relationships with cross functional partners
  • Execute and maintain physical and digital merchandising standards
  • Establish, communicate, and monitor best-in-class customer service standards across all channels
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the store and staff
  • Monitor and maintain inventory and communicate inventory action items to the GM and AGM
