About The Position
American Water is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a supervisor in the Coastal district. This role involves planning, supervising, operating, and participating in the maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance of water production wells, pumping plants, storage facilities, and PRV/PSV. The successful candidate will also inspect the installation of water production/storage systems and provide support and supervision of field operations. Leadership capabilities are essential, as the role includes promoting associate development through training programs and ensuring a safe work environment. The position requires effective communication with regulators and customers, as well as compliance reporting and resource management. The candidate must be available to work after-hours, weekends, or holidays if necessary.
