The Supervisor Logistics will lead an area focused on the planning and execution of Receiving, Warehousing and Material Distribution operations for Raytheon Missile and Defense working onsite at the Rita Road Facility. Tasks to be performed will entail providing strong organizational management and labor relations experience. They will be required to manage all warehousing and material distribution activities for the site and implement improvement opportunities and drive solutions, along with the ability to resolve conflict within a matrix organization. The candidate must think independently, communicate effectively, and provide leadership while working closely with other disciplines What You Will Do This shift will be weekends: Friday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Other needed hours can be made up during the week. Execution and sustainment of production, government, and transportation processes. Set and execute priorities relating to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Interact with factory and functional areas to coordinate efficient movement of material/property. Monitor and assign tasks to assist with material movement from dock to stock. Quickly develop expert skill set within SAP and Material Movement applications, i.e, SAP. Coordinate with workforce planning, track employee training, certify timecard and attendance management, create area layout and flow management. Responsible for providing a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvements discussions. Assign daily activities, conduct stand-up meetings, set priorities and review reports/metrics to locate problem areas and create solutions. Clear understanding of hazardous materials classifications, specifically Class 1. Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare RCAS analysis for logistics review boards. Execute cycle count and other inventory accuracy requirements to ensure 100% accountability. Obtain Certified Supply Chain Certificate within 1yr of employment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in a Management/Leadership position.
  • Material accountability experience (such as inventory control, loss prevention).
  • U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Must be willing to work Friday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and other needed hours to be made up during the week.

  • Demonstrated people management/leadership skills, experience engaging large, complicated Teams.
  • Previous material accountability experience across multiple projects and conflicting priorities.
  • Proven understanding of metrics methods; development/execution of root cause and corrective action plans.
  • Previous experience working in a cross-functional and/or bargaining unit environment.
  • Understanding regulations including CFR, DFAR, FAR, ITAR, DoD and DSS.
