About The Position

The Missile Solutions Segment of L3Harris is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Facilities – 2nd Shift to join our Orange, VA location. Our site near Culpeper, VA—located in beautiful, rural Orange County, approximately 1.5 hours from Washington, DC—is growing! This location serves as our center of excellence for solid rocket motor propulsion, energetics development, and high‑complexity production programs. The Senior Facilities Supervisor is on call 24/7 and is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and managing the work of employees involved in the maintenance and upkeep of the company’s facilities, structures, grounds, equipment, and machinery. This includes maintaining and coordinating the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program. This position initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices, with an emphasis on planning, scheduling, and preventive maintenance. Additional responsibilities include developing policies and procedures related to maintenance and construction operations; ensuring employee safety; preparing and administering the department budget; estimating staffing, equipment, and material needs based on trends and planned activities; approving purchase requisitions; and monitoring expenditures for ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • Requires practical knowledge of the job area.
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
