About The Position

AECOM Tishman has an immediate opening for a seasoned Senior Superintendent with healthcare/life sciences or ambulatory care construction experience for our project in White Plains, NY.
Accountable and overall responsibility for on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.
Leads, directs and manages the entire direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.
Primary Liaison with client for day to day activities and long term operations.
Communicates and directs through other superintendents changes or modification of jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.
Accountable for compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.
Primary interface and engagement with Project Executive and manager group to coordinate efforts.

Requirements

• BA/BS Construction Management, Engineering or related field and 12 years of construction experience or AA/AS and 14 years of relevant experience or HS/GED and 16 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules.

• 12+ years of commercial Superintendent construction experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and priorities simultaneously.
• Professional demeanor with clients and project stake.
• Healthcare/life sciences construction experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Proficiency with scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and construction management platforms (Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam)
• Solid understanding of building codes and inspections.
