As a (Senior) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Maltego US, you will own the enablement journey for government and commercial customers — from onboarding to advanced mission use. You will train, advise, and enable users to achieve maximum operational value with Maltego’s solutions, while influencing adoption and retention outcomes that directly drive Net Revenue Retention and customer success. This is a high-impact role bridging field operations and product expertise, requiring deep OSINT knowledge, technical credibility, and a passion for helping customers solve real-world challenges. What to expect

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity, intelligence, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of client-facing experience in customer success, training, or technical enablement roles within the US Government sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in open-source intelligence (OSINT) and cyber investigations.
  • Direct experience working with clients such as USSOCOM, other military/intelligence agencies, and Federal Law Enforcement entities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Active US Government security clearance or eligibility to attain one.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Maltego, Creative Radicals, or equivalent OSINT/cyber investigation platforms.
  • Experience as a user of Maltego or similar tools in a Federal Government context.
  • Background working with or for prime contractors (e.g., ECS, BAE Systems).
  • Knowledge of Federal procurement processes and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard and enable : Lead onboarding and training sessions for new and existing US accounts, tailoring content to the needs of government and commercial clients.
  • Trusted advisor: Serve as the primary SME point of contact for US Government customers, including agencies such as USSOCOM, other military/intelligence organizations, and Federal Law Enforcement entities.
  • Demonstrate and educate : Deliver advanced product demonstrations, scenario-based workshops, and best practices for leveraging Maltego products and data sources in cyber investigations and OSINT.
  • Drive adoption and retention : Measure and monitor customer utilization and adoption benchmarks, proactively engage at-risk accounts, and support account retention and expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally : Partner closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless customer engagement, roadmap alignment, and feedback integration.
  • Develop content and use cases : Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and best practice guides. Contribute to development of government and commercial use cases and case studies that demonstrate value.
  • Enable the ecosystem : Support the enablement of system integrators, prime contractors, and partner organizations to extend adoption within the US Federal market.
  • Voice of the customer : Act as an advocate for US Government customers internally, providing actionable insights that influence product development and US strategy.
  • Represent and lead : Represent Maltego at Federal and industry events, working groups, and conferences to build credibility, strengthen brand presence, and share thought leadership.
  • Stay mission-relevant: Continuously expand expertise in OSINT, cyber investigations, and the US Federal landscape to anticipate evolving customer needs and maintain subject matter credibility.
