As a Senior Subcontract Manager at Linde Engineering North America LLC, you will manage the Request for Quote (RFQ) process for subcontractors, identifying potential subcontractors, assembling the RFQ package, and coordinating RFQ clarifications. You will be responsible for the prequalification of potential subcontractors and preparing bid comparisons in cooperation with the construction department. Additionally, you will negotiate subcontracts and finalize subcontract documents, review and approve subcontractor invoices in cooperation with the Site Manager and/or Construction Department, and review and approve subcontractor insurance requirements and certificates. You will also administer Change Order Management, reviewing the contractual basis for change orders, coordinating the approval process, maintaining change order logs, and cost reporting/forecasting. Furthermore, you will enter and maintain subcontractor data in the ERP system, administer Claim Management with subcontractors, and negotiate subcontract closeouts. You will track subcontractor contracts against their schedule, budget, and phase review objectives, reporting status to management and customers regularly. You will provide feedback regarding employee performance on construction project teams to the Manager of Construction for documentation and action, and recommend new processes to improve quality or on-time delivery.
