This is a senior engineering position offering a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for three days in the office and two days remote. The role provides challenging opportunities in structural engineering and career advancement. You will collaborate with a team of structural engineers, interface with engineers from other disciplines, and guide less experienced project team members. The work involves engineering projects for new nuclear facilities and upgrades/modifications to existing nuclear power plants, applying knowledge of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design. As part of an engineering and design team, you will work on diverse client projects, preparing and reviewing design calculations, developing specifications, and supporting designers with drawing development. You will also guide others in developing engineering deliverables and perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations using state-of-the-art computer tools. There is potential for travel to client/vendor offices for design reviews and to plant sites for construction coordination and field verification.
