Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering and design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S.; eligibility for comity licensing in additional states is a plus.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ANSYS, Mathcad, or equivalent tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines.
• Experience performing seismic analysis and structural design for nuclear power plant systems and components.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AutoDesk Advance Steel is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute structural design for power generation and heavy industrial projects.
• Review design codes, specifications, drawings, and other project documentation to ensure compliance and technical accuracy.
• Prepare and review structural analyses, engineering reports, design studies, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Deliver high-quality designs within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
• Collaborate closely with multi-discipline teams and follow established engineering standards, procedures, and design practices.
