Additionally, the role includes compiling documentation of stress analysis to support the release of engineering drawings and documents, mentoring designers and junior structural analysts in best practices, and providing technical guidance on design concepts considering risk, cost, and performance. The candidate will perform stress analysis using Finite Element Methods for various conditions to support program design, fabrication, testing, and structural integrity activities. They will also support test execution and analyze results to ensure designs meet requirements and specifications, and write detailed structural substantiation reports for FAA airworthiness approvals.
