About The Position

The Boeing Company is hiring a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team in North Charleston, SC. This role involves leading the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design. The engineer will coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment and guide product design while verifying structural integrity through analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle. The position also includes leading the development of test plans and configurations, supporting test execution, and analyzing/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Additionally, the engineer will define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied, support in-service products by leading investigations into failures, and analyze improvements. The role requires developing analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort, working under minimal direction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
  • 5 years of Nacelle Structural Analysis Experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering Certification Documentation in support of Derivative ATC.
  • Experience setting up and coordinating SOW allocation at multiple global sites.
  • Understanding of Nacelle development loads process.

Nice To Haves

  • 10 years of Nacelle Structural Analysis Experience.
  • Structural analysis for Nacelles for GE engines and/or twin aisle large scale Nacelle development.
  • Experience leading teams of Structural Analysts.
