About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. In this role, you will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and pursuing new strategic opportunities with regular exposure to executive leadership. You will assist in managing strategic projects and initiatives to drive revenue growth, value enhancement, and cost optimization. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams to implement business transactions and strategic changes from due diligence through completion. Your responsibilities will include preparing and presenting investment, divestiture, and acquisition proposals with thorough evaluation of financial returns, market opportunities, and risks, as well as providing trusted counsel and market intelligence to senior leadership for short- and long-term strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building materials or related industries (e.g., transportation, logistics, investment banking, strategic consulting, operations management).
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and financial acumen with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, build relationships, and collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a track record of driving results.
