Role Definition As a Senior Strategy Analyst, you will concentrate on tracking backorders and aftermarket parts with the goal of reducing shortages and increasing sales. Your responsibilities include analyzing sales history, inventory, and stocking requests using tools such as SAS, Python, SQL, Excel, and PowerBI. In this role, you’ll be focused on advancing strategy and planning for your business segment through continuous monitoring and input from representatives to identify key opportunities.

Requirements

  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Level Extensive Experience: Designs the organization's planning processes and decision-making channels. Explains business issues and trends of own business unit as compared to other business units. Demonstrates a big picture understanding of the business, its interrelationships, and priorities. Demonstrates strong foundation of business fundamentals, measurement, and business finance. Develops business cases for own function; reviews and critiques cases for other functions. Explains advantages and risks of using business simulations for critical business decisions.
  • Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately. Level Working Knowledge: Explains the requirements, deliverables, costs, and criticalities of the assignment Participates in developing consulting opportunities or assignments. Uses formal and informal means to keep client informed on progress and issues. Carries out the agreed-upon consulting assignment in a professional manner. Documents client's objectives and project scope.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.   • Consulting Process & Tools: Knowledge of consulting process; ability to engage in planning sales, conducting research and analysis, finding solutions and preparing recommendations. Manages low risk projects and their own delivery under the guidance of more experienced colleagues. Develops and demonstrates awareness of a range of diagnostic tools. Analyzes and effectively presents data to support proposed solutions. Shows the ability to complete and draw closure on their own deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex qualitative and quantitative research for S&P engagements, using advanced techniques to collect and analyze data and derive key trends, insights, and conclusions for the business segment.
  • Determines research strategy and leads major S&P consulting projects, working closely with consultants and engagement management to synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinates with operational functions to define critical parameters, evaluate logistics workflows, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for process improvements.
  • Identifies, defines, and implements integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, establishing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal teams.
  • Develops and analyzes data to prioritize opportunities for enhancing supply chain efficiency, inventory utilization, and cost-effectiveness, fostering internal and external alliances to explore improvement opportunities.
