About The Position

Our Strategy and Operations organization plays a key role in that transformation by guiding the company’s most important initiatives, improving business capabilities, and enabling innovation. The Senior Strategic Project Manager leads complex, long‑range programs that shape the future of Pax8. In this role, you will focus on one or two high‑impact strategic projects at a time, rather than juggling many smaller initiatives. You will help advance transformational work that supports our partners’ evolution toward more data‑driven, intelligence‑enabled offerings. You will help strengthen how Pax8 plans, executes, and evaluates strategic work, improving consistency and impact.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of experience leading complex strategic projects or programs.
  • Three or more years in strategy, operations, or transformation roles within consulting or similar environments.
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise‑level initiatives with high complexity.
  • Strong presence and confidence when communicating with senior leaders.
  • Proficiency with structural project methodologies and tools such as project planning, workflow management, and iterative delivery approaches.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with data insights, interpret performance metrics, and drive decisions.
  • Experience managing budgets, risks, and change at a program level.
  • Ability to bring calm, structure, and focus to ambiguous or fast‑moving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Planning and Execution Build and maintain clear project plans with goals, milestones, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure programs align to organizational strategy and intended outcomes. Translate high‑level business direction into structured, actionable work. Recommend improvements and adjustments to remove barriers and optimize results.
  • Engage and Align Stakeholders Collaborate with executives, leaders, and steering groups to align goals, decisions, and priorities. Build relationships by understanding stakeholder needs, perspectives, and challenges. Create a predictable rhythm of communication and reviews to maintain alignment.
  • Drive Complex Problem Solving and Risk Management Tackle complex strategic problems with limited definition and create clarity where it is needed. Identify risks early and create mitigation plans to protect timelines and deliverables. Develop and reinforce standards, methods, and evaluation criteria for strategic projects.
  • Track, Report, and Communicate Progress Monitor program performance and make informed adjustments as needed. Provide regular, structured updates to senior leadership highlighting progress and challenges. Use consistent methods and tools for tracking, reporting, and decision support.
  • Champion Innovation and Continuous Improvement Conduct value and benefits analysis to ensure initiatives deliver meaningful impact. Identify trends, opportunities, and signals that may influence future initiatives. Recommend process improvements, new tools, or innovative approaches that increase efficiency and quality.
