We are seeking a Senior Strategic Information Systems Advisor (Operations & Policy Analyst 4) to join our Office of Education Innovation and Improvement (EII) at the Oregon Department of Education. This is a permanent, full-time management service position. This position follows a hybrid work model. Onsite presence will be required when business or operational needs are best supported in person, such as collaboration, training, or work that requires access to onsite resources. Employees approved to work remotely must have a reliable and secure internet connection and maintain a professional work environment that supports productivity. While working remotely, employees are expected to maintain the same level of performance, responsiveness, communication, and availability as they would in the office. What you will do! This position sits at the intersection of policy, data, and real-world impact, helping shape how Oregon delivers on some of its most significant education investments. As a senior Strategic Information Systems Advisor in the Office of Education Innovation and Improvement, you won’t just analyze systems you will help design and influence them. This role plays a central role in implementing the Student Success Act and the Education Accountability Act, ensuring that data systems, research, and evaluation directly support better outcomes for students.
