Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in equity compensation administration
  • Current or prior CEP designation
  • Deep knowledge of equity plan types and mechanics (options, RSUs, ESPP)
  • Demonstrated understanding of securities regulations, tax implications, and accounting standards
  • Proficiency with equity administration software platforms and excel
  • Public company experience
  • Experience with global equity programs across multiple jurisdictions
  • Ability to hire and manage additional team members
  • Capability to lead implementation of an equity management platform
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Resilience, resourcefulness, and the ability to develop trusted relationships and work highly cross-functionally
  • Ability to work with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Financial Systems or technical implementation
  • Knowledge of ASC 718 and equity accounting
  • Experience leading a growing stock administration team
  • Familiarity with board governance and committee reporting

Responsibilities

  • Administer all aspects of equity compensation programs including stock options, restricted stock units
  • Maintain accurate records of all equity grants, exercises, and transactions
  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, tax requirements, and company policies
  • Support equity plan participants with grant details, exercise procedures, and program questions
  • Process equity transactions including grants, exercises, vesting events, and terminations
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Human Resources, and Payroll teams on equity-related matters
  • Oversee equity plan databases and tracking systems
  • Prepare equity compensation reports for leadership and board committees
