Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Four (4) years of applicable experience and a minimum of four (4) years as a Senior Stock Clerk are the minimum requirements
  • Knowledge of stock control, shipping and receiving
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other office applications
  • Knowledge of computerized inventory databases
  • Knowledge of controlling various electronic and mechanical discrete components of electro-mechanical designs for assembly
  • Knowledge of assembly drawings for the purpose of quoting, ordering, receiving, inspecting, and kitting where applicable

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized courses/training in purchasing, inventory control, and computer operations is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing parts lists and procurement requests
  • Researching prospective suppliers, preparing RFP's and purchase requisitions
  • Analyzing quotes for compliance with program needs
  • Expediting parts delivery, overseeing the receipt, inventory and kitting of all hardware
  • Reporting current status of all program inventories
  • May physically check stock levels, review and set the reorder points for all items
  • Initiate requisitions for stock items, obtain approval from supervisor and forward them all to purchasing
  • Responsible for all input of receipts
  • Accesses the database, maintains current status of inventories and prepares special reports when necessary
  • Assign duties to Stock Clerks and Senior Stock Clerks and supervise completion of work where applicable
  • Performs other duties as assigned
