About The Position

The Senior Statistician at Medtronic will play a crucial role in the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health (NM&PH) Group, focusing on study design, statistical analysis, and report generation. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of statistics experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of statistics experience.
• Strong applied statistical skills, including survival analysis, regression modeling, and Bayesian methods.
• Experience with statistical programming software such as SAS or R.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics.
• 4+ years of post-graduate statistical experience.
• Experience in analysis of data from clinical studies and design of clinical trials.
• Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Prior experience in FDA and/or global regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Designs, plans and executes biostatistical components of research and development projects.
• Conducts studies using sound statistical methodology to determine safety, efficacy, and marketability of medical device products.
• Prepares statistical components of protocols that meet project objectives and health authority guidelines.
• Summarizes and interprets data into tabular and graphical formats for reports and manuscripts.
• Provides specifications and directions to clinicians and statistical programmers.
• Supports regulatory review and approval of experimental therapies.
• Partners in trial design and establishes standards for clinical conduct and data management.
