Senior Stationary Engineer
About The Position
As a Senior Stationary Engineer at Sodexo, you are a problem solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have meaningful impact.Responsibilities include:Serve as a lead Stationary Engineer operating and maintaining stationary engines and equipment such as steam engines, boilers, air compressors, generators, turbines, and refrigeration equipment.Conduct safety tests and periodically inspects, repairs, adjusts, and lubricatesPerform preventative maintenance of equipment, as required, using hand and power tools.Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularityOther duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of related work experience.
- Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which the work will be done.
- Minimum requirement is boiler operator's license
Responsibilities
