About The Position

The Senior State and Local Government Business Development Manager at NVIDIA Cloud Partners is responsible for driving software revenue through strategic partnerships with cloud solution providers. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency of state and local government agencies by leveraging NVIDIA's AI solutions. The manager will develop go-to-market strategies, foster channel partnerships, and expand generative AI use cases to streamline citizen services and improve government operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of business development experience in selling technology solutions to State and local government agencies.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Deep knowledge of government agency operations and funding sources.
  • Experience working with major CSPs such as GCP, Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud.
  • Proven track record in scaling pipeline and revenue through a programmatic approach.
  • Experience developing joint product solutions and sales plays with CSPs.
  • Ability to collaborate and inspire a virtual team of sales managers.
  • Work with product management teams to address customer technical bottlenecks.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; a master's degree or MBA is desirable.

  • Knowledge of AI, especially Generative AI, and local government operations.
  • Contact base of key local government officials and understanding of sales practices in local government.
  • Proven track record in presenting complex technical content and articulating the value of AI.

Responsibilities

  • Drive worldwide growth strategies for NVIDIA's platform in State and Local Government.
  • Build a go-to-market (GTM) business plan and programmatic approach to growing channel revenue.
  • Collaborate with cloud solution partners (CSPs) such as GCP, Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud.
  • Develop sales plays and training for partners to understand the value of NVIDIA AI Acceleration Stack.
  • Foster lasting channel partnerships to scale Generative AI and Data Science opportunities.
  • Expand generative AI use cases focusing on data aggregation, analytics, and citizen services.
  • Identify and develop Light House Accounts in state and local government agencies.
  • Manage sales operations processes, including opportunity management and pipeline forecasting.
