POLITICO Magazine is looking for a senior staff writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding enterprise writing skills, an extensive knowledge of politics and policy, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, competitive news environment. POLITICO Magazine is an ambitious department of POLITICO dedicated to publishing the best longform and analytical journalism about politics and policy, from narrative features and bombshell investigations to ideas-driven essays and colorful dispatches. Requirements
- A talent for coming up with original ideas and constructing thoughtful narratives
- Ideas, ideas, ideas. We are looking for writers who are full of interesting, actionable ideas and the sourcing to deliver them
- A deep appreciation for good journalism and a refined sense of what makes a good magazine story work

Responsibilities
- Pitch, report, and write stories for the Magazine of a variety of lengths and styles, including cover story worthy profiles and pieces
- Collaborate across departments and with colleagues throughout the POLITICO newsroom, including those abroad in Canada, Europe, and Australia
- Be a signature talent helping to make POLITICO Magazine a must-read product on both sides of the Atlantic
