Andover supports the design and assembly of our patient monitoring products. This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of 3 days a week in the Andover MA office. The Senior Staff Validation Engineer will lead teams of engineers that produce requirements mapping, test strategies, test procedures, test scripts, test results and release documentation for the verification and validation of patient monitoring products.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering/Biomedical/CS or equivalent degree.
- 10+ years in product development experience or product test preferred.
- Proficient with use of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with IBM RQM and DOORS, LabView, JIRA, and Matlab a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review and feedback of testability of product requirements.
- Design and develop test strategies, procedures and/or scripts for verification and validation of products.
- Produce hazards mapping/tracing based on product hazards descriptions. Develop test strategies, procedures and/or scripts to verify that product hazards have been mitigated properly.
- Produce product traceability lists of requirements to tests.
- Provide product validation schedule information.
- Code automated product validation procedures/scripts.
- Produce test reports and summaries and support the product release to production.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
