Your Team, Your Impact As a Senior Staff Engineer in Hardware and Silicon Validation at Marvell, you will play a critical role in delivering next-generation high-speed connectivity solutions. Our team ensures the integrity and performance of advanced PCIe and Ethernet technologies through rigorous functional validation, enabling products that power global innovation for both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering and 5-10 years of related professional experience; Or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Good understanding of PCIe specification in physical layer, data link layer and transaction layer.
  • Strong working experience with PCIe Gen6 system level silicon bring up and validation, and protocol compliance validation.
  • Working experience with Linux and Windows OS and cross platform compatibility.
  • Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pacing, team-oriented working environment.
  • Must have strong C/C++ and Python program skills.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PCIe re-timer validation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Electrical engineering, Ethernet protocol, and DSP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop silicon validation plan based on product design specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct post silicon system bring up, function validations, interop and performance study.
  • Implement test automation script for DUT and test equipment including traffic generator, PCIe protocol exerciser and analyzer, oscilloscope, temperature chamber, etc.
  • Work with cross functional teams to identify root cause and resolve issues found during post silicon validation.
  • Deliver customer friendly validation report with descriptions on test set-up, test procedures and test result.
  • Support and resolve customer reported issues.
