Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
  • Hands-on experience building and scaling production conversational AI, voice AI, or NLP systems
  • Experience deploying AI systems that handle high-volume, real-world user interactions
  • Strong background in backend or platform engineering, with comfort operating in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to take ownership of complex problems end-to-end and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with conversational AI frameworks or platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Rasa, Botpress)
  • Experience working with speech technologies (STT/TTS) and voice-enabled applications
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs and AI tooling (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • Background in high-growth SaaS, AI startups, or early-stage product companies
  • Exposure to domains such as real estate tech, workflow automation, or enterprise software
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy production-grade conversational AI systems across voice, SMS, and web chat
  • Develop and optimize NLP pipelines for intent classification, entity extraction, and conversation state management
  • Build and scale LLM-powered conversation flows , applying advanced prompt engineering techniques
  • Integrate speech-to-text and text-to-speech systems to support natural, real-time voice experiences
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and analytics to track conversation quality, latency, and system performance
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional partners to deliver intuitive, high-impact user experiences
  • Contribute to architectural decisions for systems handling thousands of concurrent real-world interactions
