About The Position

We’re seeking a highly experienced engineer to help build and scale the core systems that underpin our next-generation business planning platform. You’ll play a crucial role shaping both product infrastructure and long-term architectural direction as part of a small, early-stage engineering team. What You’ll Do Platform & Product Infrastructure: Drive major architectural decisions and build foundations that support a complex, data-intensive product at scale. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, design, and engineering partners to implement core platform features that deliver real customer impact. Technical Leadership: Influence how the team approaches DevOps, reliability, performance, and developer workflows as the company grows. Team Growth: Contribute to hiring and mentoring as the team expands, helping define the standard for engineering excellence. Hands-On Development: Write high-quality code, deliver reliable systems, and participate in all parts of the software lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring. Areas You Could Work On Building a scalable formula evaluation/query engine that supports advanced modeling beyond traditional spreadsheets. Designing internal tools and services that improve platform performance, extensibility, and engineer productivity. Shaping cloud infrastructure patterns and deployment processes to support rapid iteration and reliability. Requirements

• Several years of professional experience building distributed systems, platform services, or core infrastructure (Staff/Lead level preferred).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and comfort with systems that power large-scale, data-rich applications.
• History of making technical decisions that balance quality, performance, and velocity.

• Experience working in early-stage or rapidly scaling technology teams is a plus.
