From the moment a seed is planted through to harvest, crops need to be protected from weeds, insects and diseases as well as droughts and floods, heat and cold. Syngenta Crop Protection is headquartered in Switzerland. Responsible for development of package components & packaging systems (design and testing) to ensure performance, quality, compatibility and regulatory compliance for product registration, transportation, storage, and use. Provide troubleshooting support to adjacent supply chain functions (procurement, manufacturing, quality, etc.), to ensure a safe user-friendly customer experience. Progress the filling and packing process definition in regional Crop Protection capital projects, including equipment evaluation, layout, and specification to increase manufacturing capacity, improve quality and/or reduce manufacturing costs. Provide advice for the creation and implementation of development programs and procedures within the packaging engineering area. Support a team of regional packaging engineers. Make recommendations supported by relevant data. Create and implement innovative and sustainable packaging solutions that maximize the competitive advantage and build brand preference. Support all Safety and Compliance requirements and serve as an expert on Syngenta’s packaging technologies. Must be in office at least 3 days per week.
