About The Position

We are seeking an innovative Senior Staff IT Software Engineer to drive the technical vision and delivery of our Ecosystems team. In this role, you will lead the architecture and development of our Partner Portal (Experience Cloud), ensuring it serves as a scalable, world-class engagement platform. You will act as a bridge between high-level business strategy and technical execution—partnering with Product Management to size efforts, define roadmaps, and solve complex integration challenges. This role requires a technical leader who thrives in a "builder" environment—capable of designing AI-driven architectures, establishing engineering standards, and writing complex code alongside the team. This is an in office role in our HQ, Santa Clara, CA three days/week

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development, with at least 8+ years specialized in Salesforce architecture and development.
  • Ecosystems Mastery: Deep expertise in implementing and managing Salesforce Partner Communities (Experience Cloud) with complex sharing models and custom branding.
  • Modern Development Stack: Expert proficiency in LWC, Apex, Triggers, SOQL, and Asynchronous Apex. Proven track record of integrating external JS libraries into Salesforce to solve unique UX challenges.
  • AI/LLM Proficiency: Practical knowledge of Generative AI architectures. Experience designing and prototyping AI-driven features for enterprise applications.
  • Middleware Expertise: Hands-on experience with integration middleware platforms; strong preference for SnapLogic for orchestration and data transformation.
  • Agile Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams in a fast-paced Agile environment, mentoring developers and driving process improvements.

Nice To Haves

  • CPQ Experience: Functional or technical knowledge of Salesforce CPQ to support complex quoting workflows within the partner portal.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Architecture: Define and own the technical architecture for the Partner Ecosystem. You will make critical decisions on scalability, security, and performance for Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Innovation & AI: Lead the technical design of AI and Large Language Model (LLMs) initiatives. You will identify business use cases and implement AI solutions that drive intelligence and automation within the partner experience.
  • Advanced Engineering: execute complex development tasks using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows. You will push the platform's limits by integrating external JavaScript libraries to create bespoke user interfaces.
  • Integration Strategy: Architect and oversee robust data integrations between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, Order Management) using SnapLogic or similar middleware, ensuring data integrity across the quote-to-cash flow.
  • Governance & Process: Institutionalize engineering best practices. You will enforce strict DevOps standards (CI/CD, Git) and lead code reviews to ensure the team delivers clean, maintainable, and defect-free solutions.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate intimately with Business and Product Management teams. You will translate vague business needs into concrete technical specifications, providing accurate effort sizing and alternative solutions to maximize business value.
