As a Senior Staff Engineer Full Stack Engineer at Ridgeline, you will play a strategic role in shaping our AI capabilities, setting the technical vision, and delivering game-changing tools for the investment management industry. With your deep expertise in AI systems, you'll lead efforts to solve complex challenges, enhance platform capabilities, and drive innovation using state-of-the-art technologies.

  • Lead the design and delivery of next-generation AI capabilities, including integrating LLMs, RAG workflows, and AI Agents into Ridgeline's platform.
  • Define and execute the AI strategy, collaborating with product and engineering leaders to identify high-value opportunities.
  • Architect scalable, robust AI pipelines that can operate seamlessly in cloud-based production environments.
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art AI models and algorithms, ensuring Ridgeline maintains a competitive advantage.
  • Mentor engineers across the organization, fostering technical growth and advancing a culture of innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-driven solutions, aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Establish best practices for AI development, ensuring performance, reliability, and ethical AI standards.
  • Stay ahead of AI advancements and evaluate their applicability to Ridgeline's platform, sharing insights to keep our team at the forefront of AI innovation.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML development.
  • Proven track record of architecting and deploying machine learning systems, particularly LLMs, in production environments.
  • Deep expertise in AI Agent frameworks, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and fine-tuning of large models.
  • Exceptional programming skills in Python and familiarity with languages like Kotlin or Java.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineers, driving technical excellence across teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to navigate complex projects and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Experience with Reinforcement Learning (RL), multi-agent systems, LLM model evaluation.
  • Publications in AI conferences or contributions to high-profile open-source projects.
  • Knowledge of investment management workflows and opportunities for AI-driven solutions in finance.
