Requirements

  • BS / MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
  • 5-10 years of related professional experience with C/C++.
  • Experience with RTOS or Scheduler.
  • Experience with microcontroller embedded firmware with mixed signal products.
  • Experience with hardware bring-up on microcontroller with IDE through JTAG, SW.
  • Familiarity with SERDES/PCIE protocol.
  • Familiarity with Github and Jira.
  • Python is a plus.
  • Github Copilot is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design and develop firmware for reliable, scalable, high performing SERDES/PCIE IPs using C/C++.
  • Develop new features and enhance existing features for AI infrastructure connecting products by designing firmware and algorithms tailored for Marvell mixed signal hardware-based accelerators.
  • Develop software and troubleshoot issues related to hardware bring-up, multi-threaded software development with virtualized hardware.
  • Work with application engineers (AE), product managers and cross functional hardware/software engineers to investigate and solve customer issues.
  • Analyze and investigate methods to enhance firmware performance on Marvell SoC/IP by using existing hardware and simulators and suggest future hardware/software design improvements.
  • Plan, schedule, estimate efforts for projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers during execution.
  • Work on MCU based SERDES/PCIe products, design and develop firmware and software for networking and switching products.
