Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil/site design, preferably within a consulting engineering environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of site development design, stormwater management, grading, and utility design.
Familiarity with local and state permitting processes and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Perform civil engineering design and analysis for site development projects including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion and sediment control.
Prepare and review engineering plans, reports, calculations, and specifications.
Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams including structural, transportation, environmental, and survey departments.
Assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the design and permitting process.
Review and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and design standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and engineering interns.
Participate in project meetings, site visits, and field inspections as required.
Support proposal preparation and business development efforts when needed.
