Responsibilities

• Assist AMG/PMG in targeting opportunities for Infineon devices for On-Board Chargers (OBC), DC-DC Conversion, and eDisconnect applications.
• Perform simulations at the request of the customer using PLECS, SIMetrix, PSpice, etc.
• Develop evaluation tools/kits to allow customers to evaluate Infineon components.
• Provide training to Field Application Engineering team on OBC, DC-DC, and eDisconnect applications which highlights how Infineon devices are used.

Requirements

• BSEE (MSEE preferred) with strong focus in Power Electronics.
• At least 5 years of experience in the following areas:
• Thorough understanding of various DC/DC converters.
• Thorough understanding of various power factor correction (PFC) topologies.
• Thorough understanding of pulse width modulating (PWM) MOSFETs, and now HEMTs.
• High level of simulation expertise.
• Understanding of thermal management.
• Understanding of magnetics.
