As a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing, automating, and optimizing secure, scalable, and compliant environments that power government and enterprise solutions. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape DevSecOps strategy, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate across disciplines to accelerate deployment velocity and system reliability. Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, including 3+ years in a senior technical role.
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, automation, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) and GitOps workflows.
  • Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Solid understanding of secure cloud operations and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
  • Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or data-intensive workloads.
  • Proven leadership in scaling DevOps practices across large teams or organizations.
  • Passion for automation, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, observability frameworks, and incident response systems.
  • Ensure infrastructure meets rigorous security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive performance, resilience, and velocity.
  • Champion DevSecOps best practices and mentor engineers across disciplines.
  • Participate in architecture reviews and influence system design for scalability and maintainability.
