About The Position

Blue & Co., LLC (www.blueandco.com) is currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Consultant to join our revenue cycle team. This is a unique position that involves working in a fast-paced professional services environment assisting our hospital clients with improvements impacting the capture, management, and collection of patient service revenue. This position requires an individual with a consultative mindset as a trusted advisor and service provider, including a strong relationship orientation, creative problem-solving skills, with an objective yet persuasive approach. The successful candidate will assist hospitals with revenue cycle management (front-end and back-end operations), including patient access, point-of-service collections, billing, follow-up, denial management and resolution. This role requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills, along with the ability to lead a variety of client engagements, including process assessments and implementation services.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle operations.
Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle operations.
Knowledge of Medicare billing regulations.
Experience with financial, billing and reimbursement data.
Proficiency with hospital systems, such as EPIC, MEDITECH, Cerner, CPSI, Soarian, McKesson, or SMS is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities of multiple projects.
Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Travel of up to 5 - 10% overnight required, mostly to regional clients, prospects, or events.
