About The Position

The Senior Staff Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications. Focusing on Analytic, Data Science and Business Intelligence, you will have the opportunity to work across all business functions and with our Data & Analytics experts globally and across multiple operating companies. This position is part of the Enterprise Architecture organization and reports to the Chief Data & Analytics Officer. It can be performed remotely.

Requirements

• 7 years of overall BI/Data Analytics/Data Engineering experience with at least 5 years as a Business Analyst
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Dashboards or Data Preparation
• Proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, and process modeling
• Hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Power BI
• Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence
• 3 years of experience working in Agile teams that work in sprints

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with Palantir Foundry
• Experience in data governance

Responsibilities

• Engage continuously with stakeholders to understand their business goals and collect requirements
• Translate business requirements into user stories and comprehensive functional specifications for data integrations, data modeling, dashboards, and reports for the development team
• Prioritize user stories into the right sequence of projects and releases for the team to implement
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver efficient and effective solutions
• Engage with the Data and Analytics user community to support solution adoption
