Join our fast-paced manufacturing finance team in Charlotte as a Senior Staff Accountant, where your attention to detail and passion for process improvement will make a measurable impact. You'll support core accounting functions including general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, and inventory while helping to streamline financial operations and drive accurate reporting. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi‑entity or operationally complex environment
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
Experience with month‑end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders
Sound judgment, integrity, and a continuous‑improvement mindset

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Lead or support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the SMI business
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
Partner with FP&A, operations, and business leaders to provide financial insight and decision support
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and system efficiencies
Maintain accurate documentation and support for financial transactions and reporting
Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior accounting staff, as needed
