About The Position

Vaco has partnered with a Distribution Company and they have an opening for a Senior/Staff Accountant to be the sole accountant on the team handle daily functions. Candidate must have international client experience and understand sales and corporate tax. Client is offering outstanding benefits and work from home days.

Requirements

• B.S. in Accounting
• Comfortable with talking to international clients/customers
• Experience with Corporate and Sales Tax
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a huge plus
• Experience in an Accounting Software

Responsibilities

• Debits and Credits
• Registration in different states for Corporate and business tax
• Sales tax management
• Monthly and quarterly close
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Functions
• Work with external accountant to compile Financial Statements
• Bank reconciliations
• Auditing
• Intercompany accounting
• Multistate and international experience
• Reconcile GL accounts
