As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. You will contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment/systems problems and perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. This includes but is not limited to wet (steel, copper, and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps. You will follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment. Additionally, you will read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. A high level of customer service, strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly are essential. You must also have the ability to work independently.
