Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related, OR
  • Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related, OR
  • High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales related.

Nice To Haves

  • Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry.
  • Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology or infectious diseases.
  • Local market knowledge and established relationships in the territory.
  • Speaks and understands Chinese.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact and implement marketing strategy to promote Amgen products.
  • Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
  • Deliver branded sales messages and implement planned programs to achieve territory sales.
  • Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
  • Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
  • Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn to grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
