About The Position

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Network-Centric Collaborative Targeting (NCCT) system Subject Matter Expert (SME) to define Concept of Operations (CONOPs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). He/she will collaborate on system-level development, including specifications and documentation; provide training to military personnel, support training exercises as well as real-world missions; develop and teach operational training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Must have 10+ years of hands-on operational experience with ISR systems or Intelligence analysis experience.
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Must have or be able to pass a CI polygraph.
  • Must have or be able to get Security+ within a year of employment.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation).
  • Hands-on training experience with ISR systems.
  • Familiarity or experience with Signals Intelligence.
  • Familiarity or experience with Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), RC-135 and/or Air Operations Centers (AOC).
  • Familiarity or experience with supporting major joint/combatant command exercises.
  • Familiarity or experience with DoD situational awareness tools.
  • Familiarity or experience with Camtasia.
  • Familiarity or experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience supporting DoD projects/programs with preference given to cross domain C4ISR and/or Information Operations experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of NCCT CONOPs, TTPs, and SOPs.
  • Support on-going real-world missions/operations with local and/or on-site support.
  • Develop and present program's training materials.
  • Travel to operation sites to train NCCT users.
  • Gather user feedback and communicate with NCCT developers.
  • Contribute to detailed after-action reports (AARs) and recommendations.
  • Provide program expertise to exercise planning and execution teams.
  • Support detailed planning of formal exercises and support exercises on-site.
  • Coordinate with system engineers to ensure technical architecture supports exercise and demonstration objectives and scenarios.
  • Provide operational expertise regarding the employment of the NCCT system to our customer.
  • Contribute operational expertise to the systems' engineering and software development teams.
  • Articulate and validate systems requirements and architectures.
  • Participate in technical reviews and conduct briefings to audiences of operational aircrews thru DoD decision makers.
  • Prepare technical briefings, plans, and reports and present, when appropriate, to the customer.
  • Participate in internal and external working groups and technical reviews.
  • Work independently and/or with the requirements development team to resolve technical problems/issues.
  • Sufficient NCCT experience to become an Agile Product Owner as the system continues development via the Agile methodology.
