About The Position

This position serves to assist the Segment’s lead for Material Management & Accounting System (MMAS) compliance under DFARS 252.242-7004 and is responsible for ensuring consistent execution and audit readiness across all Sectors, Divisions, and Sites within the IMS Segment. The successful candidate will guide a cross-functional team that owns the day-to-day execution of MMAS requirements, including cycle counts, BOM reconciliation, MPS attainment, material transfer integrity, audit documentation, and ensures these activities are embedded into operational routines. This team also plays a critical role in identifying and deploying best practices, tools, and system enhancements to improve functional integration and performance tracking across the Segment’s Supply Chain. This role partners with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and IT leaders to ensure MMAS controls are maintained within ERP systems (primarily SAP S/4HANA and Deltek Costpoint), and that policy and system updates are implemented effectively across the business.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge in MMAS compliance execution and government audit readiness, including direct ownership of successful DCMA/DCAA audit outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of DFARS 252.242-7004 and related FAR/DFAR clauses impacting all aspects of material management, government property and government contracts.
  • Strong background in ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA and/or DELTEK CostPoint, and the ability to partner with IT on integration and data integrity efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management. Experience with a proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience (or Master’s Degree with 4 years; or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance if required.

  • Familiarity with government property management and related audits.
  • development and validation of MMAS required metrics such as MPS Accuracy, BOM Accuracy, and Inventory Accuracy.
  • LEAN or Six Sigma certification with hands-on kaizen or project management experience.
  • Experience managing MMAS compliance across multiple ERP systems or business units.
  • Current DoD SECRET Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading the execution of Segment wide MMAS compliance initiatives and activities and serve as the a liaison with DCMA/DCAA and internal audit stakeholders.
  • Oversees the operational ownership of MMAS pillars including inventory accuracy, BOM integrity, MRP/MPS compliance and transaction accountability.
  • Maintains Segment level policies, procedures, work instructions, and training material across a multiple-ERP landscape.
  • Oversees performance metrics related to inventory control, cost avoidance, working capital efficiency and system compliance.
